Mountsberg Conservation Area has a great maple sugar bush, a play barn for kids to romp in, horse wagon rides, a petting zoo and a Raptor Centre for injured birds of prey who can’t be released. Oh let’s not forget the reservoir and wetlands, home of many birds and fish. Since the sap was running and the sun was shining, it was a perfect day to visit Mountsberg. It also gave me the opportunity to pick up a gallon of maple syrup for a mere $50 – we’re set for the year now!
