We held off giving Thomas his “BIG” present until today. With all the excitement of the last two days it made sense to wait until life was somewhat back to normal to introduce such a fun pressie, a Peg Perego Super Gaucho Jeep. As soon as he saw it his face lit up and he scrambled into it. The Jeep has 3 speeds, the slowest is very slow, too slow. The medium speed is good and the top speed of 7 mph hauls pretty damn fast, too fast for a little guy that doesn’t get the concept of steering or braking. It’s a 24-volt machine and has enough power to haul Thomas and Daddy together although the seating is a little cramped. I’m sure Thomas will be begging for more driving tomorrow, and the next day, and the next day…. Personally, I can’t wait until it’s spring and we can hit the trails with it. Hopefully Thomas will be a more proficient driver by then. Practice makes perfect!
Daddy & Thomas take it for a spin

Oh WOW!
Just like his mother! Testing how far and how fast he can go. My question is when is he going to supe up the tires?
Great pictures! Happy & Healthy New Year.
WOW!! Very cool!! Someone needs a helmet!!
P.S. Pics would have been much better without JR.. He Hee.. Ha Haa..
Yes, Thomas was wheeling without his helmet, which he does have. I have to find a way to either fit a hat over the helmet or a thin cap under it for the winter though. As for modding this Jeep, time will only tell. I’m sure Justin will tinker in some way
Not surprised in the least. Have a great New Year!
How about a bigger license plate? “Jeeper in training”
