I know, Halloween comes before Remembrance Day. I knew it would take a little time to get to some other posts and I wanted to make sure the Lancaster pics were posted on Nov. 11 so the order of posts gets a little mixed up.My little boy, Thomas, went Trick ‘n’ Treating in Oakville with his Nana, Grandpa & cousins Pyke & Ben for Halloween. It’s a great event hosted by Downtown Oakville. The merchants along Lakeshore Rd are out on the sidewalks handing candies to the cute little toddlers dressed for their first few years of Halloween festivities. The sidewalks are packed! I only wish they’d close the main road for the event so the kids are safe from traffic and the merchants could fill the road rather than having crammed sidewalks, or at least make the toddler traffic one way on the sidewalk to avoid congestion. Beyond the bustling of toddlers, strollers & Mums, the kids make out like bandits with a huge selection of fine Halloween yummies. Here are the young ones enjoying the fun.
