It’s been a while since my last entry but I have plenty to update you on, just need to make time to catch up.I visited the Canadian Warplane Museum today as the Lancaster was flying and it’s a great place to visit on Remembrance Day. One side of the hanger is cleared out and seating is set up for a very well attended Remembrance Day service. The Lancaster Bomber took off at 10:45 and according to the maintenance crew conversations it did a fly-by over the Cenotaph in Hamilton, ON then flew back to the museum to do a low bank over the museum at 11:00am. On its return to the museum it did another low bank for spectators. This was its last flight of the year and now goes in for winter maintenance. A series of shots, including some interesting and close angles. You are able to get right up to the plane if escorted by a crew member and you can go inside too. There were a number of people inside and enough to shoot on the outside, so that’s where I stayed.
